1. No Refund Policy for Successful Transactions
Once a payment is successfully made through the Municipal Corporation Bathinda online portal towards any tax or municipal service, it is considered final. No refund, cancellation, or chargeback requests shall be entertained for successfully processed transactions.
2. Duplicate or Excess Payment Refunds
In case of duplicate payments, excess amounts paid, or accidental overcharges, a refund may be initiated by Municipal Corporation Bathinda, subject to the following conditions:
- The taxpayer must submit a written request for refund along with valid payment proof.
- The refund request must be submitted within 30 days from the date of transaction.
- The amount will be refunded only after verification and approval by the concerned department.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be made through the same mode of payment and may take 15 to 30 working days to process.
3. Failed Transactions
If the amount is deducted from your bank account but the transaction fails and no receipt is generated, the amount is usually refunded automatically by your bank within 7 to 10 working days. If the amount is not credited back, please contact your bank directly.
